Not this little fella
He's a great player but just as replaceable as the Aguero's, Silva's, Kompany's, Fernandinho's , Yaya's of the past.
A little ironic, and a great pity, that those great players did not win a champions league while with us.
Our team is as good now as at any time in the past
Its just a matter of getting in good team players and Pep integrating them into our system.

I think so. You don’t see many Bernardo’s coming along. Dias, Haaland, Kev, Walker, Rodri stepped up. Where do u find another Bernardo?
We didn't find another David or Aguero, definitely didn't find another Yaya,Rodri is different to Fernandinho we replaced unique players with others.Like doesn't always get replaced with like.
Though that said I think Foden has many of Bernardo's qualities and is the ideal replacement if not this summer then the next one or two.

Yes, him too,and personally I wouldn’t put him at the top of the difficult to replace list, high on the list but not top. I even think we have his ultimate replacement already.
I think you are looking at 2 players to replace Bernardo. I don't think there are many players who are available who have the high level of technical ability allied with the energy and workrate he offers.

Agree with the first part but Foden lacks that *pausa* quality which Pep values so highly in Bernardo. Bernardo looks exceptionally calm on the ball whereas Foden is much more action oriented and instinctive. Foden is a better attacker, though.

Think Foden has the technical ability, close dribbling and is a better finisher, may even have a better range of passing, like Bernardo he can play centrally or wide, can he press and work like Bernardo, maybe not quite, but not too far off.

Agree that is where Bernardo ranks higher than Foden, but we won’t and can’t get a Bernardo clone and maybe others will need to adjust how they play to compensate.
