Like to think so, more likely MP will shove Kolarov in midfield so he can continue to kick the ball very hard
That's just what i've been thinking for for several years. If Alex manages to get used to played not on the wing but in the centre instead, with his physical strengh, shot and stuff, he'd be a perfect holding mid, much bette rthan Fernando, who, in addition, is able to pass the ball forward, run forward himself (with the ball or not) and be very effective for the team, and who can shoot and score.

Personally I think Kolarov would be a disaster as a holing midfield player. No awareness,no touch and a poos passer plus he would ptobably be yellow carded early on and become a liability very quickly.

I think this season has shown the benefits of having players that are hungry to succeed. In all honesty, I think we've lost that hunger under Pellers and I think it's time to give Celina and et al a proper shot in the first team.

Yep, can't think of many worse options to be honest. He'd be caught in possession all the time and he lacks a basic awareness and ability to move the ball intelligently. He'll be gone over the summer.

Think Celina deserves some playing time in this run of fixtures with all the injuries we have right now

He needs to learn how to pass with his right foot to begin with! Would be a disaster IMO. He'd just get frustrated and smash it from 40 yards or as someone else suggested, get sent off.

Mail have run a puff piece on him.

It says wee are about to give him a 5 1/2 year contract.

It includes this puzzling paragraph -

But while fellow starlet Patrick Roberts was allowed to leave for Parkhead, Pellegrini blocked all moves for Celina, believing the teenager can play a role for his side during the business end of the season.

Which must be made up because I'm reliably informed Pellegrini hates all players under 25.
