Nope I'm just responding to those who put Boateng (one of the worst performers in a City shirt of all time) in this Best XI since the takeover poll.

If you're going to start putting Boateng in an XI based on what he's perceived to have done for other clubs then I trust whenever you formulate an 'all time' City XI that you include the likes of:

Schmeichel
McManaman
Vieira
Weah

Personally I find this logic deeply flawed primarily because you're talking about players who rocked up to City when they were well past their prime so were never going to show their best here. Boateng came at a young age and was fucked off after 12 months. He has gone on to be the cornerstone of everything Bayern have won since then.

Come on you know more than enough about city to know he was not fucked off. He was not played at centre half but his form did not warrant it at the time. He wanted the move back to Bayern for a multitude of reasons.

I know you would like to lay the blame at Bobbys door but sadly you cannot on this one. You can credit him for signing him for 8.5 million though.
