Doves/The Strokes @ St. Andrews Hall, Detoit. Unique show, as the Strokes were stopped at the border for "pot seeds". Doves were headlining, but went on first and allowed the Strokes to go on after. Saw them in the basement of the venue along with shooting the shit with Jimi as I had a City shirt on. Great night before the Strokes got huge and well the doves were excellent.

The Smashing Pumpkins @ St. Andrews on there first tour after they "fired" Jimmy Chamberlain for heroin use that killed their keyboard player. First tour back together as the "original four piece". Great time, they could have played the Palace at Auburn Hills but played St. Andrews. Was in the que for 4 hours. Great time.

Radiohead in Grant Park, Chicago, 2001. With my girlfriend at the times surrounded by the chicago skyline. Anyone that's been to Chicago's waterfront and has seen the skyline from there will know what i'm talking about. They did a triple encore finished with True Love Waits acoustically. Just an amazing night.

And I could probably add 3 or four that would rival them. I've been lucky.

I have been to a ton of concerts so it's hard to narrow it down to three but here are mine:

Prince - Alphabet Street tour at The Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA. Easily the most talented person I've ever seen.
Ramones - At The Village in Lancaster, PA. The energy at this show was indescribable, they played so fast it seemed like they were trying to incite a riot. Just when you thought things were getting out of hand they played even faster, I was both scared for my life and completely awestruck at the same time.
Beastie Boys - Trocadero Theater in Philadelphia, PA. This was just after Check Your Head was released. They weren't as big as they were after licensed to Ill and were playing a small venue. They were also just getting into their really trippy experimental stuff as well. They kicked off the show with Slow and Low and then just blew up.

Marillion supported by Porcupine tree at the Ajax Arena (2000 ?) was amazing. I had seen Marillion the week before at the Leeds Cockpit in front of about 500 people. Was then amazed to a packed out 10000 crowd who could sing along to all the later era songs.... a young audience with a strong female presence ;-)
