Finally we can lay to bed that Sean Connery was the Best bond,Daniel Craig is the closest in terms of the picture that Fleming described in his books.

Watched clips of the themes music of Bond films the other day, the backdrop of footage, confirmed how ludicrous all the other Bonds were, and additionally how dross these actors were that we were fed.

Daniel Craig brings depth to the part finally. Daniel Craig is Bond
 
Bonds suck, i never win anything.

On a serious note (all things being relative) Connery is still the best, Daniel Craig has to do more than 1 great film and 1 decent film to better big Sean.

really? i thought quantum was a great let down.
it had no sufficient plot and was far too much action scenes than any sort of story line. i thought they could have elaborated much more on it rather than just sticking in as many explosions and gun fights as possible.
die another day was the best recent one
and i reckon pierce brosnan was the best bond

I think Dalton was the first attempt to bring the present version of 'Bond' to the screen. They didn't quite have the writing, so it got planned and so they resumed the flip flop attitude of the consequent 'Bond' after that.

So, with that in mind, Daniel Craig is the definitive 'Bond', but Sean Connery is the iconic 'Bond', so far.
