Best Bond

Just saw quantum today. Great film i thought. Enjoyed it as much as the last one.

really? i thought quantum was a great let down.
it had no sufficient plot and was far too much action scenes than any sort of story line. i thought they could have elaborated much more on it rather than just sticking in as many explosions and gun fights as possible.
die another day was the best recent one
and i reckon pierce brosnan was the best bond

Oddly, that's how I felt about Die Another Day. I just felt that its special effects were too outrageous (the surfing bit) and the gadgets had gone too far.

I like the new Bond, with fewer gadgets and a rougher edge. And I also enjoyed Quantum of Solace as much as Casino Royale. I don't think it lacked as much plot as the critics would have you believe, but I do concede it could have been better exploited.

I think the plot of the film was more the development of Bond, rather than the evil plot. Perhaps that's why I enjoyed it, I don't know.

I'm not sure I'd agree that this was the best Bond but I certainly thought it was a very good one indeed, an excellent debut for Pierce Brosnan in the role.
