What you need to understand is you can drink beer with breakfast but not start on champagne until brunch, then drink what ever you want, simple rules for a simple man.

Cafe North on Shudehill is always very good

Dishoom on Bridge Street do Breakfast Naan breads.. pretty decent.

Bear grills in Congleton for his mega breakfast if you want to fill your boots.

I stayed at the Governors House in Cheadle on my last trip, best brekkie I have ever had while staying at a hotel or B&B it was immense

If you like Cicchetti give Piccolino Caffe Grande a try opposite town hall. It’s good and you can dine outside in good weather. Quite cheap as well.

Used to like the cafe up the road from Baeur Millets near cross street. Probably a vegan bike shop now..

-Koffee Pot is very good. 4 different fries from round the UK - popular with students - Northern Qtr.
-Ezra & Gil
-Federal but the one behind arndale is small - as someone said Ilkay was coming in and i was leaving last time i was there.
-The Ivy off Deansgate - proper posh instagram sort of place but very good. Take the Partner
-The Lowry hotel use to be good value for money like £15 all you can eat basically. but went downhill recently.
-Alabamas All American Eatery - very busy but central.
- The leaf - Portland Street - trying this next.
