My dad almost died after eating one of those as a kid. Never let me have one.
I did see someone use one as a weapon after a match one day outside Woolworths. Scalding hot boiled burger to the face followed by a flurry of lefts, rights and knees.

My Dad used to enjoy a sneaky Canadian Charcoal Pit occasionally - think it was in Chorlton.

Seems to still be one in Stretford.

I haven’t had one for over twenty years bit they used to be fantastic.
Dad used to drive from Openshaw to Fallowfied just to get us all one.
