Best butty in the world ?

Just remembered, the green mesquite in Austin does the best pulled pork butty going...besides mine (not kidding, i mastered it). I dunno if @AustinBlue has been but it is spot fucking on!

Also has any Austin residents or anyone been to Franklins? i like the guy and his style tbh, he knows the science of cooking but adds to that the beer drinking laid back attitude i love. If he fucked the hipster shit off i may even touch him a bit.
 
Subway is fucking rank. Heavily processed meat that tastes fucking disgusting.

I've been to Franklins. And had it delivered to feed my company. It's really good, but is anywhere worth a 3 hour plus wait? My favorite sandwiches in Austin are at Noble Pig. Every single element of the sandwich from scratch. Bread. Charcuterie. Pickles. Condiment. My mouth is watering at the thought. I am en route to England. See the parents. Play some golf. Go to the derby match. Eat a bacon butty at my Mum's house. Can't wait.

I may have mentioned before in this thread, though I once got sent to bed during "Casey Jones" for screeching as I wanted a vinegar sandwich...

From my local butchers, I have warm turkey, Lincolnshire sausages, little bit of stuffing and cranberry sauce on a brown butty. Haven't had one for a while, might have to treat myself this week.

Same here mate I even make pizza butties which totally baffles her indoors
