Best car parks near the Etihad

Pretty much as the thread title suggests.
Got tickets for Saturday's match and will be driving in from Edinburgh. The Etihad car park is fully booked but want to get a pre booked space somewhere within ten minutes walk of the ground.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received, even the ones suggesting bricking my own car windows as an option.

Within 10.mins walk will be almost impossible with the new restrictions. Try Ashton Park and ride and hop on the tram for the final leg.

Vermillion restaurant car park may be one for your back pocket. Don’t think you can pre book, it’s a tenner and providing you get there before 2pm you shouldn’t have a problem. It’s about 10-15minute walk, but once you get on the main Etihad property, they run small electric buses from the north stand car park for those who struggle.

Premier Parking have pre-booking at £12 plus think they said they might be running a shuttle bus for an extra charge but not 100% on that.

I’ve never used the site though and it’s on a dual carriageway so can only approach from the north and leave to the south.

We parked at Vermilion quite a lot & it’s also good for getting away. But this year when we looked at booking Etihad Stadium parking it had Blue, Green & Vermillion as being available, so not sure if City have all of it or there are going to still be some turn up on the day spaces.

LOL we’ve all been screwed, there’s a 1000 page thread about the end of onstreet parking, caused by greed from the council mostly and lack of care of health and safety of people travelling to football matches with children, elderly and disabled

On the website it says 'Please note car parking at the restaurant is first come first serve and no post match hospitality is provided'.

Thanks all for the responses. Got a pre booked space in Lind Street but have an option to cancel should anything more suitable come up.

I would park near a Metrolink stop and get the Met to the Etihad.
