Within 10.mins walk will be almost impossible with the new restrictions. Try Ashton Park and ride and hop on the tram for the final leg.

St Anne’s RC Church on Carruthers Street about 15 mins walk costs £10. You generally need to be there for 1.30ish though. If full they send you to a school car park around the corner which is the same distance pretty much.
