Best card for ATM withdrawals abroad?

I’d definitely be chasing them up. I applied Friday morning and received the confirmation of my account about an hour later. Put the card in my Apple wallet. The physical card came yesterday.

I'll try again tomorrow. All they keep saying is they have a lot of applications right now. i point out to them that people are applying and getting it done in no time.

The only thing I can think of is that I rent a room, have no HP, mortgage etc. Have a credit card, bank account and that's it.

I completed an online application with them a couple of years ago and never heard anything back from them one way or another despite having good credit standing and being financially soluble.

I've just cancelled my application for Starling. Apparently, my application has been pushed back further (4 days already) because they are not happy about my proof of address. I've sent them copies of my Bank statement and Credit Card showing my address. They cannot tell me how long it's going to take.

I just rent a room that includes all my bills.
