Hello everyone new on forum so please be easy on me...
Spurs 81 FA Cup Final (Thursday night replay too!) - Ossi & Villa in a different class - we ran em off their feet first half & played our hearts out but knackered second half.
Car was quiet on the way back - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.......no money then but our expectations were some way off todays... as another members posting noted at 3-0 up with 80 minutes to go we could still lose 3-4 - aah still miss the thrill of Luton Town away (feed the Goat) & the possibility of a draw (hopefully).
Watching City from 3 years old (thanks Dad for 67/68!) on Dads shoulders in the corner between Kippax & Platt Lane & getting wet (no cover) sets you up for life...don't expect much & you wont be disappointed.

My all time favourite mainly because me and my mate hitch hiked there and back and slept in the stadium on the pole vault mattress`s on the Monday and Tuesday night before the game.ECWC Vienna.
