Best City Football you've seen?

And this clash should be 7:0 or 8:0 for us... But madrid and not just them, also other,,big'' clubs every time we play them have All the worlds luck... But in the end we then win our first CL trophy and the Trebble so that was some unbelievable good feeling :)
Yeah felt Leipzig got lucky with the seven. We could have scored 15 that night. I thought their keeper was brilliant despite conceding seven.

The RM 4-0 was v special.
But I'm also thinking of when City won 0-3 at Arsenal on a cold night few years back. We absolutely mullered them and I remember it being a statement win, despite a big points lead at the top of the table, with everyone finally waking up to how awesome we were.

Silva, that day at Old Trafford, was sublime. I'd go so far as to say it was the greatest individual performance of the Premier League era. So were Dzeko, Balotelli, Aguero and a few others great that day, in fairness..
Therefore, slapped arse twat Gary Neville gave Man of the Match - after a 1-6 away victory - to one of City's full backs.
Silva was magnificent that day and also on many other occasions

Manchester 4 - 0 Real Madrid 2023. The best footballing performance I've ever witnessed. Not only that, but it's the best footballing performance anybody who watched it has seen. PERFECTION.
Maybe one day the spiteful red loving media will acknowledge this. I very much doubt it though.
I bloody missed it because I was on a cruise with no way of watching. Had to do it through text updates :(

The best phase was in the CL winning season - that little flurrry of utterly ridiculous football and resuits

Leipzig, Bayern, Madrid all absolutely blown away.

Best “pure” football performance was the 4-0 humbling of Madrid during that run. Off the scale that.

Best performance aside from that was the 2-1 v Liverpool (2019) one, with goals from Aguero and Sane. Liverpool were a fiercely brilliant side at that time, the league was at stake and it really fucking mattered. Incredible, intense team performance.

It was Scunny '63. I know someone who went to the home game, then on the back of that result his first away game 2 days later.
That run started on the Saturday before Christmas with a 6-1 win over Rotherham. Jimmy Murray 3, Derek Kevan 2 and Neil Young scored the goals. Then on Boxing Day it was 8-1 against Scunthorpe. Hat tricks for Matt Gray and Jimmy Murray and two for Kevan. It continued the Saturday after with a 4-2 win away at Scunthorpe with Murray (2), Kevan, and Wagstaffe scoring.

Jimmy Murray scored 46 goals for City between 1963 and 1967. Eight of those goals came in those three matches over eight days. I only was able to go to the Rotherham match as the family always went to Shropshire over Christmas back then.

We'd beat them at Wembley a few days before too

Saw everyone of that Christmas run , childhood memories in the Platt lane.
Smell of castella cigars, old spice aftershave and brandy in coffee out of flasks.
