You really can't argue that Johnny Cash's last couple of albums were the work of genius, and Hurt is unforgettable.

I don't think women get that song... it's a song that sons understand about their fathers.

My other fave would be Jamie Cullum's version of Radiohead's High and Dry.

i think REMs version of Lennons Dream #9 is class, but for some reason all the youtube vids are deleted or volume disabled.
