Obviously, a very unique set of circumstances this week and, if you have been watching City since the bad old days or before it feels a bit like a culmination of the best footballing 'shit to the pinnacle' story ever (although, for me, 2012 was more the "didn't think this would ever happen" moment).
However, every podcast or interview with a city fan I've seen this week has seen a mental scramble by all involved to be the first to get a mention in about how "I lost it emotionally at full time", " I cried like a baby", "I was in floods of tears", etc.
This includes people who most definitely were too young or not there to experience the bad old days and for whom it is just their alway successful football club being a bit more successful than normal.
Don't get me wrong, it is emotional, thinking about those not with us anymore who wouldn't have believed it possuble and who form part of your memories of why you support this club. And, for me, 2012 felt like that.
But it seems to be that if you are on any form of media, you have to be in competition to describe your tears, even if you have only ever known city winning things or have barely ever been to a match.
So, come on, have you been boasting about your crying?
Who.is the top crier?
Give us your crying stories.
Extra marks for cliches like "I'm not crying, you are" or "I've got dust in my eyes".
A merit for those who trump everyone by telling everyone about how they cry watching reruns on TV.
