Well it's pushing towards 50 years since Dave scored that headed goal vs Ipswich Town.
So it just shows what a remarkable goal it was, if people are still mentioning it almost half a century later.

Bloody hell . 50 years . Remember the celebrations when that ball hit the back of the net like it was yesterday . Stood in our usual place in the kippax above the tunnel next to the away section

Talking of headers, I remember the Dennis Tueart header in the final seconds at the Baseball ground that should have been an equaliser but the ref blew for full time when the ball was in mid air going into the net. It must be the best ever headed City goal that never was.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but a headed own goal to put us 2-1 up at Blackburn on the final day in 1999-2000.
