It doesn't matter, grow up. 26K turned up, big deal. I don't blame anyone for not going when they can watch it on the telly for free. Why does it matter, unless you are some kiddie who is arsed what your Man United mates say?

Clubs don't get massive gates for Cup games, until close to the final. Every club is the same, more or less. Some do better, some do worse. City have been in the latter category for years now.

Fucking live with it and stop letting it upset you. And stop pontificating about loyalty.

My arse,only 26000 fans last night for a uefa cup game that was still in the balance,plenty of noise from those of us who did bother to turn up but how can we expect the team to get fired up for the game when they see so many empty seats.It was only £15 in advance and £20 on the night so where were the rest of you last night,sat watching it on ITV4 no doubt and i bet when and if we reach the semi final and i pray the final you will all come out of the woodwork demanding your tickets for the games.

I think it was a great attendance to be honest our best in Europe this season,you should think about the reasons why people can not go there are so many like my reason know for so long is the fact i have not got a pot too **** in so every penny helps me and i have to put life essentials and so on too the top of the list and even if it was 15 pound it's 15 pound that can be spent on (as much as i love our club) better things.

We have to face facts because we are a club supported by local poorer "lower class"(proper) fans we can't make it a packed stadium every game with it being on the telly as well and i think that is much better than filling the stadium with silent prawn sandwich eating Londoners/foreigners.

If you can afford it or make it too the game then fantastic well done but don't get all high and mighty and show off about it by having a go because you just sound like a tw@. (To me anyway)

Excellent point well made. The scums fans remind me of them London yuppies on the Fast Show who've just discovered football supporting as the latest, must-have, trendy hobby. The Charlie Higson character gets up to leave for home at half time, clenches his fist and goes "Soccer!!", -not a clue what he's just been watching.

You're right mate, at least we are "proper" compared to our Disney neighbours.
