Wenger stands out so far from the current 7 foreign PL incumbents but I thought who would be the best including the others who are no longer in post. Here they all are: in terms of numbers Chelsea are way out in front with Hiddink, Scolari, Grant, Mourinho, Ranieri, Vialli & Gullit while Spurs have had Ramos, Jol, Santini, Gross & Ardiles. Portsmouth have had two Perrin & Zagec . Villa kicked off the trend with Venglos, City also just the one with Eriksson, as have Wimbledon with Olsen, Fulham with Tigana, Palace with Lombardo and Liverpool with Houllier. (Scots, Irish and Welsh are not considered foreign enough for these stats.)

I suppose Mourinho would easily get most votes but who else impressed? (Scots, Irish and Welsh are not considered foreign enough for these stats.)

I'm "Tifoso" of Inter and I can see very well Mourinho and Mancini:
Mourinho is the best to talk to journalists but, after 2 years, I think the Mancini is the best to coach players.
Mourinho would only the best players to win, Mancini has the same results with less important players . ..

then my answer is. . . . Mancini! !
Forza City !

Wenger
He went through the season not losing a single league game and didnt spend a fortune on already established stars.

I've changed the OP to reflect the replies.

The score is now Wenger 1 Mancini1

Were Mancini to make MCFC his English managerial project as he did at Inter, I would say that he has every opportunity to emulate and surpass Wenger.

My wish would be for him to stay at CoMS until he picked up his Italian old-aged pension.

Wenger, the man is class made baconface look a twat on plenty of occasions. I'd welcome him to Eastlands with open arms, and plant kisses all over him. Very sexy football indeed. CTID!
