Few contenders in this ... number 7 has to be up there
I was on a plane over the Atlantic watching the game when that went in. I jumped up from my seat and screamed. The woman next to me who was fast asleep nearly had a heart attack. Had to apologise.Always remember a screamer from Kev down at Leicester.
Leicester had a corner, cleared or should I say passed away from David Silva (I think).
3 touches later Kev feints from his right foot to smash a thunderbastard with his left into the top corner.
Schmeichel no chance
November 2018. Gundo netted at the end of a 51(53) consecutive pass move. The Fourmidables season. That one at home v rags with a silly amount of passes just for how Pepesque it was
Sorry.I was on a plane over the Atlantic watching the game when that went in. I jumped up from my seat and screamed. The woman next to me who was fast asleep nearly had a heart attack. Had to apologise.
Oh yes Gundos was a back flip. Superb. Yet surprisingly (!) ignored by the msm. A rag scored a similar goal following season iirc and well, it was wall to wall best goal ever.Honorable mention for Gündoğan's goals at Goodison Park in May 2023, and Stones at home to Leicester around the same time.
Several great shouts but I also loved the one away to Leicester (think it was Raheem) when the pass from KDB had 2 defenders on their backsides trying to stop it.The one that always stands out to me is the Kev goal away at Madrid in the treble season
Bernardo volley v villa. Mahrez hemmed in near his own box. Escapes and we go the length with Bernie delivering exceptional tekkers on the volley
That was the moment I thought we could win the title. All doubts gone.KDB at Chelsea in the 1-0 win there in 2017 was a superb goal and signaled our intent.
