Best guitar solo of all time.

Not saying this is the best but my favourite is Frusciante's intro to californication live at the slane.

I was planning on just listening to random songs but that mood has changed and now it's like turned into a 'rush night' lol
Lots of support for Rush out there and I grant you they're pretty good, (I love Trees and Spirit of the Radio) but it must be obvious that they're basically an imitation / poor man's YES! You have to admit it?

I'd take Rush over Yes myself personally.

By god this'll create a few diverse opinions or two won't it? Failure to agree can be settled by guitars at dawn, loser is the one whose fingers fall off first. Obviously you've got Queen who are your stereotype but my favourite ones for these at the moment are Dragonforce, don't know if you've heard of them and in particular a song called 'Fury of the storm'. For all you guitar fans out there, check it out, it's pretty cool. The fella who plays guitar is the fastest in the world apparently.

Anyway I'm throwing this wide open. Share your favourites, which you think is the best (may not be the same) and all that general chit chat. Cheers.

LOL

reminds me of that sketch on 'Not The Nine O'Clock News' with the band sings
"don't need lovin, need psychiatric aid" - and where the guy's head blows off

and here it is...

"I'm 42, my girlfriend's 8" ahah ah ahahhahahaah ahaha

oh yeah.... this gets my vote!

;o)

(after that I guess comes all the classic rock I'm usually to be caught listening to; Jimi most likely gets the nod, but as there are so many classics it really depends on your mood doesn't it?)
