Bernie scored a couple of good uns last season, passing it into the net with his fod, skills honed on those table tennis style tables in training
The one v Cardiff in the 0-5 was class, against a side relying on set pieces too.

as some of you know i am a Gala fan (also england national team, and city then)
tonight against trabzonspor Icardi scored a header. i ll put it below..
then i said to my gala friends
''guys, 5 goals i ve ever watched as a header'' (ps:i hope i say it rigt, sorry about my english, i have a TOEFL 104, but still not a native speaker)

ok, 5 best goals for me in history in headers, that is for ne. by the way i am a big shearer fan but i know all his goals but.. this is something different
ok.. i am not sorting those
for me
- van basten against real in 89

poffff by the way for ne that is luck. all goals can be considered as luck.. but.. i dontknow... van basten

- moldovan 98 in turkey for fenerbahce (coach is LOW)

poffffffffffffffffffffff. that one.. no comments

- jardel vs st gallen 2000 for gs ( for me this is the best header in histor- i wanna discuss it-i ve never seen a better one)

- icardi tonigt (ok that s great but probably i am exegerating because of joy. but nice one)

fuck.. what was the fifth one?
anyway
what do you think?
which goal is the best header in histort?
ps: for me, i am puttin jardel to no 1 because he scored the goal before the ball came. in van basten goal.. by the way modovan s goal could be the best because he lived the moment ( we say it flow in psychology)

ok best header goals....but with intelligence . for example sherighams goal in 96

How do you end up been a gala and England fan

I dont think there’s film of it or even pictures ,but I vaguely remember a headed goal by Colin Bell , possibly versus Newcastle at Maine road .
Breathtaking for the leap ,not the power or distance.
I’m ancient so doubt anyone else here recalls this

One of the best headers I've seen was Borgetti for Mexico against Italy at the 2002 WC. Not a bullet header but technically so difficult to pull off. The replay shows how he is running diagonally across the goal then redirects the ball to the other corner, the timing to crane his neck round and glance it perfectly over the keeper is incredible. Leaves Buffon totally stranded. Nine times out of ten gets nowhere near but it's clearly deliberate and he executes it to perfection. Definitely up there for me.

The best headerer (sp) of a ball of I've seen in my lifetime has to be Bierhoff. The power he used to generate off them was crazy. It was as if he got a buzz out of doing it, the same way Roberto Carlos would take a freekick.
