One of the best headers I've seen was Borgetti for Mexico against Italy at the 2002 WC. Not a bullet header but technically so difficult to pull off. The replay shows how he is running diagonally across the goal then redirects the ball to the other corner, the timing to crane his neck round and glance it perfectly over the keeper is incredible. Leaves Buffon totally stranded. Nine times out of ten gets nowhere near but it's clearly deliberate and he executes it to perfection. Definitely up there for me.
The best headerer (sp) of a ball of I've seen in my lifetime has to be Bierhoff. The power he used to generate off them was crazy. It was as if he got a buzz out of doing it, the same way Roberto Carlos would take a freekick.
Crowds dropped significantly at most clubs in the seasons following Heysel, Bradford, and Millwall rioting at Luton, all in 1985.Never said it wasnt. Just commenting that it was a low crowd.
Pretty sure the OT derby wasnt a great attendance
