I'm a second generation Queen fan, having been brought up on them by me mam, but i've never heard this before, and i've got to say this is a cracking tune. Also, i never got the chance to see them live, i've thought about going to see them now they're with Paul Rodgers, but i just don't think they'd do Queen, more importantly, Freddie, justice.

I did the same to my kids. They're both in their 20's now but both still love it.
A lot of the album stuff is far better than the "commercial" stuff. If you liked Ogre Battle try this from the same album, Queen II, my personal favourite Queen track...

My mate who knows I'm a big Queen fan has seen them with Paul Rodgers and he told me I wouldn't like it. It's just not Freddie.

Ah Queen! spent many nights driving through France at night as a kid on my hols, staying up with the el fella listening to his tunes. Queen, Quo Dire Straights, Dylan loads of good stuff. Gutted I never got to see them live.

The only thing I can remember that for me beats One Vision for an intro is this I heard off the familiar to millions Oasis album, this made my spine tingle!

Seen the DVD of them with Paul Rodgers ("Return of the Champions"). It's okay, but I wouldn't recognise it as being Queen. Anyway, back to the point of the thread ("intros"!). A lot of their later stuff was turgid unfortunately ("Hot Space" and most of "The Works" and "Innuendo" springs to mind here!). However, of their later material, this has a pretty good intro!
