Best Live Artist/Band

Opeth ...... been amazing all the times I've seen them

Tool ....... saw them at the MEN a few years back.... Wow

Metallica .... seen them a few times and top notch live

also seen Sepultra twice as support act and they were top class live ....... shame about the main act's

i have seen MANY bands in my short life, and I have to say. Beyond any shadow of a doubt. Iron Maiden. By far and away, the sing-along choruses, the energy they put forth, the musicianship, the sound quality. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!

For entertainment value-
Jethro Tull
Steve Vai
Rush
For sheer buzz-
Thin Lizzy...without question.
Musicianship-
It Bites.
Jethro Tul.
Rush
Worst-
Barry White....Utter shit.
Saw them 5 times queing forever at the Apollo without a doubt god bless him Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzie

Can't believe nobody has mentioned The Charlatans. First saw them 89 in Liverpool and they have improved time and time again.
Simple Minds at Roundhay Park Leeds in circa 88 were pretty cool, supported by Siouxsie and the Banshee's. Oasis at the hallowed Maine Road were fantastic for atmosphere.

I saw them 5 times. We were probably at the same gigs. ;O) I was at the Gary Moore gig at the Apollo when Phil came on and did a guest spot. The place went wild when Phil walked on. RIP Philo :O(

Don't forget that other excellent support band - Martin Stephenson and the Daintees ;-) They were almost as bad as One The Juggler who supported Big Country at the apollo in the early/mid 80s.

All About Eve were pretty good though.
