I forgot Alison Kraus, definitely would make my list too. Also Emmylou Harris and the incomparable Karen Mathieson.

My favorite singing voice in history is Willy Deville. Nobody on EARTH could sing a song the way that man could. And that includes everybody. Best female voice is either Dusty or Karen.
