Make a few subtle referencies to you shagging the bride.
That way when the groom finds out, he won't be as shocked.

There are 1001 stock phrases for BM's speeches but they are all old/crap.
Dont buy a speech either as it will be full of the above.
You need to make it about 80% humour and 20% serious (thanking bridesmaids etc)
I have done 2 and been an MC for another.
Use little prompt cards (never A4 paper).
Move around the room whilst talking (helps your confidence).
Have at least one visual joke (props work really well)
Never make a joke about the bride.
Get a bit pissed but not too much.
Dont to vulger but inuendos are great.
Make it last for between 20 and 30 minutes.
Tell me more about your mate etc and I will help you.
Where does he work?
Did you go to school together?
What happened on the stag "do".
Which soccer team does he support?
What are his hobbies/obsessions?
The more detail (however obscure) the better.
