Best Manchester Uni?

I study Popular Music at Salford and auditioned at Manchester Met. Although the MMU audition was in Crewe, I thought they were really poor and un-organised.
I absoloutly love my course at Salford and also love living here as well. So I would say Salford was the best Uni, but I suppose it depends what subject your taking really.

but I didn't think Salford was in Manchester??

;o)

(<- only one Uni in Manc; the original "Owens" who with the amalgamation with UMIST and also the MBS now form one of the most powerful and largest aggregate institutions in Europe, and are ranked in the world's top 100 universities... although don't ask me how because I didn't bother to check in to that; but it probably includes some sort of research evaluation. I only saw the list at an educational consultant's offices when I was visiting last month, but Manchester is on it around 30th I think. This group assist prospective university students from Istanbul to study in the USA, UK and Europe and help them get in to places like Harvard)

Manchester uni is generally considered the better for most things but it all depends on the course. Also, Manchester uni tends to be the one full of the jumped up posh/rich kids. End of the day you are taught the same degree everywhere so it shouldn't really matter where you go.
