I did witness a disabled runner at the Manchester commonwealth games get a standing ovation as the other athletes had finished and he was only half way round. Still moves me to this day the determination of the man not to give up.

Twas so good you didn't remember which one.I think wee Mo at the London Olympics was brilliant. And that time our relay men’s won at either European or Olympics.
Sandy Lyle winning the 1988 masters, Dad knew the Lyle family quite well & me & dad used to have a game of golf at Hawkstone now & again so we used to have a chat with sandy, it was amazing & very emotional to see him win the masters.
Bunker shot is up there with the very best. In fact he was unlucky it didn't roll back more for a tap in. Then to drain the putt, I was made up for him.
