Best opening scene in a film.

Especially at the cinema.

I may watch it again tonight. I don't think it can ever be topped as an opening scene. Cinematic brilliance. The horror, chaos, bravery and human sacrifice make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

The men fighting on the beaches in Normandy and those dropped behind enemy lines beforehand are truly a different breed of man compared to this generation of woke snowflakes we're now pressurised to accept and are over-cautious about not hurting their feelings.

Not everyone’s taste but for shear visual and audio impact Baz Luhrmans Romeo and Juliet is stunning, particularly on the big screen.
