Was on that game & applauded them off they were that good, Dortmund few years ago tore us apart when we’d become a “top team”, had very rarely seen us destroyed at home like they did that night, could’ve been 6 or 7 if it wern’t for hart

I agree, we sang can we play you every week after 4- 0 :) that dortmund team were good as well.

I can't disagree with that. They were magnificent, and it's the best team performance I have witnessed live.

One thing I recall is the stands emptying 15 minutes or so before the end of the first half.

The second half started, the stands filled up, and we sang our hearts out 'till the end. Strange, but one of the best atmospheres I can remember at the old ground.

We were mediocre, but it didn't matter that night. I stayed so I could watch them in the second half as they had been so good beforehand. They let us off the hook but they could have scored double figures that night if they had wanted to.

My mate wanted to leave with about half an hour left but I was having none of it . They were brilliant that night and were a joy to watch. To be fair City have since done that to numerous teams away from home too.
