I've just watched some old City game highlights and it brought back memories of incredible times with Aguero, Silva, Toure and plenty of others.

But one player stands out IMO head and shoulders above the rest, and that is KDB.

On reflection, I think he is the best player ever to play in the PL. He's just absolutely phenomenal. His first touch - which never even gets mentioned - is ridiculous. His vision, unparalleled. Passing, ditto. Control amazing. Burst of speed fantastic. Shooting, brilliant. Assist? Say no more. Even tracking back and tackling, damned good.

Has there ever been a better player? I think he's the best ever. What do you think?

David Silva was the man, if he could have scored a few more then it wouldn't be in doubt, the guy stats don't do him justice, he was the man that assisted the assister and nobody records that.

How many times did he send a winger on his way with a peach of a through ball and then the winger squares it across the goal for a tap in, assist and goal recorded, tremendous vision and pass left to fade into the memory banks.

Don't get me wrong KDB is fantastic, we really have been spoiled these last 15+ years

Has to be KDB he’s doing things not many could do in football history never mind just the PL 4 seasons 16 or above league assists is insane numbers

Probably Henry, but Haaland can get there if he stays more years in the PL. Haaland might lack the natural gifts of Henry and KDB but goal involvements wise he is in a league of his own and he's only 23.

KDB is the best midfielder in PL history and even many oppo fans would agree with that. 1-2 more CLs and he'll be among the goat midfielders.
