Best player you have seen in a City shirt

Has to be Anelka, I'm only 15 so I missed out on the really good years, and a lot of the really shite ones but he was probably the best player I have seen. He was on such a different level to the rest of the team it was frightening.

Kinkladze - 15 yrs too early!

Robinho - Truly world Class on his day

Anelka - 25 goals in a season when we were average at best

Tevez - based on this season.. and to think people on here thought him average

Tueart -

Dave Watson.

The guy was immense. He's not often mentioned, but Gary James featured him in the programme a couple of months ago, and it's about time.

Nothing got past him, in the air or on the ground, and his vision and passing was up there with the best as well.

The OP stopped us from mentioning Bell, but Watson, for me, was a rock of a player.

Thanks for the mention and I agree with your comments entirely about Watson. He remains my biggest hero and interviewing him was a real pleasure.

In the end the interview was split over two issues (8 pages in total) because there was so much to say. Prior to Watson none of the interviews had been given that much space.

I'd have to go for Rodney, he was just so tricky, you never knew what Marsh was going to do, it was worth going in the 70's just to watch him !

georgie kinkladze - was the maradonna of the time, if only he played with us now.
eyal berkovic - clynical, skillfull, accurate and just brilliant.
ali benarbia - great partnership with goater and was our match-winner.
richard dunne - very loyal, very consistant, very strong.
elano - class in abundence. best passer i've ever seen.
shaun wright-phillips - academy graduate. goalscoring, quick, skillfull winger.
robinho - STATEMENT. showboater. brazillian.
carlos tevez - goal, goal, goal, goal, goal, goal, what a season, what a signing.
