british protection stalybridge city pub, old general is no longer a city pub it,s been moved to the top astley dukinfield run by dukinfield branch, or you could try ridgehill working mens club stalybridge run by paul city fan, other city pub is little astley tame street stalybridge and lodge inn dukinfield plenty of blues in there all 5 mins away in taxi from travel lodge?

there's around 15 of us that leave from the march hare pub on the crowhill estate (about 10mins walk from the travelodge) we get taxis to the ground from there then go in the victoria (croft st) after the match for a hour or so till the traffic calms down.

Dog and Partridge is another boozer and fulll of blues. Its further past The Sun towards Crown Point. We would normally be in there but we are going Shambles early doors
why not get the bus to stalybridge and try a pint of real ale in the buffet bar its one of the best real ale pubs in the country and your only ten minutes from the city centre on the train then you can get a match bus from the city centre to the ground for a quid the buffet bars well worth a visit check it out on <a class="postlink" href="http://www.buffetbar.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.buffetbar.org/</a>

all good advice pal,but cant see why you just dont go in MARY DS after game it will be full of blues and you can get one bus back to sheldon arms for a pint at the side of travelodge once you have finished celebrating.
