For me, Peter Barnes’ goal against Spurs has to be up there.

That was the goal and it wasn't as i remember it.lol
Not a full volley ..but great chest contro,l turn, and firing home on the half volley.
Left footed. ..Brilliant.
I was there that day and that goal was just one of many skilful finishes by Quinn which went unnoticed by many as he was known outside City for his ability in the air and not much else.

The commitment of Peter Rieds team in the tackle can be seen in that short clip.no prisoners taken ..and balanced by some stylish approach play.A great time to be watching City away with a vociferous following(terraces were still allowed ) and half decent team.
