It's brilliant, masterful acting by Robert Shaw. Never tired of seeing it.

I also like the, 'You're gonna need a bigger boat', scene.

Sure I read somewhere that Robert Shaw ad-libbed his part & it wasn’t scripted, also that they were on real whisky & half pissed when they did that scene .
