I mean after all none of them made top forty but this made number 1 in 1990.

I’ve been watching TOTP every week on BBC4 and it’s up to August 1990 now. There’s some fantastic music as we all know but some of the stuff that got in the top 10 back then was fucking unbelievable. Either it was 8 year olds buying most of the singles or people who’d been lobotomised
