Best Starting Lineup Next Season

The formation can be alot of options.

It's more important the pieces all fit together in a logical way.

Example, some want to play 4231, that's fine.

With 2 attacking fullbacks, that's fine.

With Reijnders in a double pivot with Rodri... that's not fine now. Reijnders would have very restricted freedom to attack and at that point you are asking him to be more Kova/Bernie and less Gundogan.
 
At the moment, I think nobody can name a starting 11

The squad is going to be trimmed big time by Pep, 5 or 6 players will leave after the World Cup
Some will be loaned out and others sold,

Pep will not mess about and Stones Grealish Ake Mcatee Lewis Gundogan Savinho will be waiting for the axe to fall

No offence but I just find teams like this completely mad. What has reis done to think he should start over Dias?

Dias will always been in our starting eleven and if he wants fit then Reis would be behind ake, akanji, khusanov and stones if he stays.

I see you also left Rodri out so maybe you are just on the wind up and you’ve got your bite
 
Depends on how Pep sets us up, hedging my bets with 2 options, only 1 player changes

If we are playing with 2 fullbacks bombing on, the 3 behind Haaland can be pretty fluid positionally.
Feel we will need Khusonov's pace to cover in behind, even if it is at the expense of Diaz.

It’s mad how many people don’t have foden in their line ups. I’d argue he’s our best player when in form.

Hopefully he gets back to that level. I think there’s too many people writing him off after one season
