They could well be.The Swedish meatballs from IKEA Ashton are the dogs bollocks.
Turkish has gone a bit downhill.Royal Cod and Atlantic good for Fish and ChipsTurkish Delight - Kebabs, Mahbub - Curry, Atlantic Fish Bar - Fish & Chips...all Chorlton and all amazing at their specific cuisine. Salivating just thinking about them all.

Yeah was Ming Yuk for ages before being sold 3/4 times in what seemed like 12 months.Used to be called Ming Yuk !!

Indish on Broadway is my go to for a curry, Prime Pizza across the road from Papu's for pizza (amazingly) and Hong Liang in Failsworth for a Chinese
