Best team city have had since the 60s?

Do you think this could be the best team city have put out since the success of the 1960s and 1970s?

I know we are getting there and if we are it could make Hughes and some players into a legends like Joe Mercer, Colin Bell, Mike Summerbee and Francis Lee.

Without a shadow of a doubt no other City team has come anywhere near the Championship Team of the late 60s, early 70s. Would be the last word in City folklore if the two, via smoke and mirrors, played each other.

Absolutely the best squad of players we've had since the glory years back in the late sixties/early seventies ..... no doubt about it whatsoever.

Only Brian Hortons mid-nineties side deserves a mention for its entertaining cavalier attacking style .. home and away.

The late sixties/early seventies side had terrific team spirit , and some great players , who weren't afraid of giving opponents a goal start in a game ....... they knew they could eventually come back to win.

This squad has to prove it's consistency now ..... it's made a great start , but testing times are only around the corner!
