Amidst all this frenzy and rumour and counter rumour and overblown claims of ITKs I would like to soothe all you frantic fellow fans by telling you about the the best transfer ever. It had a five pointed gold star with the word, 'Sheriff,' and a pair of crossed Colt 45s. I must have been about 9 and it lasted on my left arm above my elbow for about a week. There - now we all feel better and are wrapped in a warm nostalgic glow ready for beddy byes and a few peaceful hours until tomorrow brings more upsetting speculation about which we can do absolutely nothing.

My best transfer was Bangkok international to Phuket.......I'll never forget that neck massage.......luckly I was dragged off my wife before any real strangulation could take place, how we laugh about it now......well I laugh, my wife just makes a funny whistling sound.

Trevor Francis - pity he did nowt :-(

i haste to disagree kind fellow

trevs scored 2 i believe on his debut v stoke

it was my first away trip on my own with my mates ( was about 14/15) i think

Lost in the midst of time now, but as you say Francis scored twice on his debut, the Rags had paid a fortune to Forest for Gary Birtles and it took him yonks to get off the mark.

What a game that was at the "Victoria Ground" in the sunshine!!

Colin was the greatest I've ever seen live, he had everything, best inside right box to box, heading ability, positional play, but most of all leader, his performance against united in the rearranged fixture old Trafford 1968 was phenomenal, that day they tried everything to hurt Colin, he was taken off on a stretcher they stopped near the tunnell so he could watch Franny slam in the 3 rd from the penalty spot, he was what we all sang at the end of that season Colin the king.

You're wasted on here Sweyn, get back to The Cellar where you belong! There's a plethora of swoosh sounds going on throughout this thread.

If you escape up here again, we might have to invest in a padlock system.
