Better than when your kids were born?

No, i've given birth to 3 children and the immense relief you get when they are out and you know they are safe is just unbelievable.

Don't tell the mrs but I think it was.

A rag mate asked me yesterday and straight away I said yes because you don't get that massive release of joy when your kids get born. You know it's going to happen.

Don't get me wrong in terms of being happy I would actually put it on par with the kids being born. But as an event Sunday 13th May 2012 takes it.

Anyone else feel like this or am I a bad person?

No but only fookin just

I actually said to my wife that was the best feeling in my life but only because of the massive adrenaline rush because of the circumstances whereas with your kids you have 9 months to prepare so it's a different kind of feeling...obviously a more important one with kids anyway...in my opinion

I got out of it in a way, by saying it has been the best weekend of my life, my lad was born on a tuesday :-)

Different, not better.

One generates an overwhelming desire to protect, and nurture, and provide for. It generates overwhelming, overpowering unconditional love, the feeling that here is something you will sacrifice everything for. The feeling that in the future when you are gone there is a mark that has been left behind, the feeling that there has been real meaning and purpose to your existence. It is the desire to watch something that would be helpless without you grow before your eyes into something strong and capable of withstanding all that life can throw at it. Something you will be proud of forever.

The other is just your kids being born.

No; two differnt kinds of euphoria. I would fight for City, but I would die for my kids.

Still on cloud 9 by the way

This and This!
Couldn't agree more Sunday was amazing and what made it special was when we socred the winner my 6 year old son launched off his seat he'd had to stand on to see and gave me the biggest hug and kiss he's ever given me man enough to admit I cried
