I agree with the sentiment completely.

I got my heart stamped on this year and many times I wished I'd never met her.
But before I did I was pretty lost to be honest and had lost some confidence in myself etc.

Then she came along and I fell in love and it was incredible.

When we broke up.....Jesus it hurt. But since then (and I've only realised this recently) I've been the guy I used to be. Confident and really rating myself. Women pick up on this and I've enjoyed some good times lately :)

Even though it still hurts....she rebuilt me during our relationship.
So my heart is fucked but everything else about me is all shiny and new again.

I'll take that.
