On my face book thing bob I get updates about fsv mainz05 they stuck this on this morning something about only 9 european clubs having a dedicated digital service in japan, and also noticed the one about the arabic twitter feed. Don't have a clue what it all means but shows what the club are doing to push the brand of city around the world.

Wish all this technology existed when i was younger I could have saved a fortune, standing at a phone box in some foreign land waiting for 5 o'clock uk time so I could ring my dad for the footy results.

Think the numbers are number of people signed up for for the dedicated channel by those clubs. The tag line of the photo reads

Nine European club offer a standalone channel for the target group in #Japan and its by a company called http://www.result-sports.de/

had a look around their website and found this

I smell bullshit, everyone knows that all of the 127.3 million in Japan support the Rags

I heard they did a sample survey where they asked everyone wearing rag merchandise to name a football team. It showed that they have 9 billion fans.

What's interesting is the SinaWeibo stat, which highlights us as being #1 for followers on there, which is China's equivalent to Twitter, and the Rags with 0 Youtube subscribers.... as they are greedy twats and have MUTV, which plays in our favour as we have over 300,000 subscribers :-)
