And if (I don't believe it, but follow the theory) we are the only planet with life, then we are the most significant thing.

That is quite amazing, but here's a question for you aint the sun a star and earth a planet, in which case, what's the difference and when does a star become a planet and vice versa??

An explosion of energy & matter creates a sun, then the debris that flies away from the sun forms planets/comets/suns etc.
