big screen stupidity

Just on this topic, did anyone else hear the announcer say "No.3, Paul Konchesky" for Fulham on Sunday. It was even on the big screen when they put the teams on throughout the game. :)

well we did it again last night.

mr ferris interviewing fans outside the ground pre game, while the city players were warming up and what happens, some fan stands there and slates boateng, giving it, boatengs having a nightmare routine.

so we now have fans slating our players on a 30ft screen while they warm up, it just gets better and better, in fact it's fucking hilarious.

If that did get put on the screen mate I can only imagine it was said live and therefore impossible for City to control. I did some fan Q&A's before the game which were pre-recorded an although I didn't see it on the screens afterwards they usually edit some of the negative stuff said about players.

I will let them know on Saturday that feedback and see if City can try to minimise it happening again.

I did listen to comments on this thread and tried to bear them in mind last night at half time and made sure I didn't ask fans their result predictions just tried to keep it to their thoughts on the game so far etc

Give City a bit of breathing space with this stuff mate they are just trying to get the fans more involved in the match day programme and I understand that it may not be to everyones taste but a lot of this is still a work in progress and I'm sure things will get better. Also they are really open to Fan's suggestions on how to improve the match day experience and I have already passed on some of the stuff from this thread.....

I must say Danny you are a breath of fresh air on the screens, i really enjoy listening to you. If ever the day (hopefully soon) that Hugh Ferris cannot do it for some reason you would be perfect for the whole job, Hugh is probably a nice guy but i just don't like his presenting style.

Well I was one of the ones 'interviewed' last night and Danny just asked me what I thought might happen in the second half and, mindful of this thread, there was no way I was going to say "City will win 26-0"!!!!! :-) What I did say was that maybe Dunnie would score an own goal for us! Maybe that is why Houlier took him off!! :-) (Tongue in cheek there lads don't get upset!)

Danny is a much better interviewer than that other man because Danny smiles at you and looks interested.

Frank might not be very good at a kickabout these days. Having said that, he'd still be better than the dross they serve up at half time at the moment.

Same happened last night. The Villa team on the board had Young and Downing playing

Did anyone else notice that the Aston Villa team they had up was wrong as well? They had Ashley Young and Pires on the main team 'sheet' they kept putting up but they were both on the bench!!
