I am expecting a big Spurs win today for a number of reasons

1) Stoke have the Cup semi-final looming
2) Stoke are poor away from home
3) Spurs have had a wretched week and will be desperate to get back on track

If they fail to win - then the race for top 4 will be over. So I like many other blues will be watching this game very closely.

Come on Stoke!

i`ve come up with a masterplan which i`ve put into action today, put money on spurs to win,if they do then a few quid in your pocket will soften the blow a bit.
I`ve put a fiver on a rag/spurs double today, will be chuffed to bits to have wasted it !

The result will depend upon Stoke`s attitude. A work colleague is a Stoke fan and he says away from home they are so negative. Even in the last 2 mins at the Swamp and a goal down they didn`t go for it and seem happy to lose by the odd goal to the bigger clubs. They depend upon their home form to stay up. The result will be dictated by Gypo Pulis`s team selection, if he plays one up and packs the midfield they`ll lose. If he goes out to attack they could do Spurs while they are down after the Real result, but I doubt the Gypo`s bottle.

Stoke have lost 11 away games and scored only 12 goals away from home. Very close to the worst away record in the Premiership. Everyone thinks Stoke are difficult to beat, but in the League they have been very good at home, but very poor away

I dont expect a big win. They either lose or then scrap a win. Or draw..

They played a few days ago Real over an hour with 10 men. They also have some injury problems and players are tired.

So they could drop points.

Yeah, free scoring, wonderful wonderful spurs should win this comfortably.

hahahahaha, 'big spurs win', only the media think spurs score a lot.

I think it's unlikely.

Of their thirteen wins in the premiership, ten were won by a single goal, and the other three were won by two goals (these were the home games against Newcastle, Blackburn and Wolves).

Spurs have had 3 successive 0-0 Draws against poor opisition in the league and if they don't get 1 by half time I think you will see an increasingly frustrated crowd. If Spurs don't get an early one then Stoke have every chance of holding on for a point, although, if Spurs score first I can't see Stoke coming back into the game.

Hopefully Stoke can nick it with a text book Delap throwing but im going for 0-0 or a marginal Spurs victory.

I as well think Spuds bounce back today.

Stoke aren't in great form and already have 11 away losses this season.

Could go either way..... Spuds can't score and also need to save energy for the 2nd leg in midweek.
Joke City may rest a few for the cup semi but then gives the incoming players one last chance to impress Pullis into giving them a place at Wembley......

Hopefully Stoke can get something out of this. They are poor away so i wouldn't count on it.

But Spurs are having trouble to score so it will be an interesting match.
