Big Thank-You To MCFC (Gary Cook)

Do you think he'd send a load of nuclear warheads to Afghanistan if I wrote to him?

I am going to ask him for a few Chinook Helicopters to get our lads around safely!

He'd send them signed by Adebayor!

Its acts like this that make Manchester City what it is and the reason why so many of us support this club. Its people like Gary Cook who come in to City and work tirelessly for the club to drive it in the right direction. Don’t get me wrong Gary probably earns an exceptional wage but I am god damn sure he puts in more work than is expected of him. That’s why it is important that we win a trophy soon to firstly reward us loyal fans but more importantly for all those that work so hard to make city the great club it is. Well done Gary I doff my cap.

Garry Cook is indeed a top bloke.
We held our supporters club launch night on the 19th September and Garry turned up on the eve of the derby and stayed from 7.30 till turned 11.
He brought Danny Wilson (supporters liason officer) with him and also gave us one of only 100 limited edition African tour 3rd shirts to auction off in aid of our club and Paul Lake's charity 'Jumpspace'. He didn't have to do that or stay all night and talk openly to anyone who wanted to chat but he did. A very impressive bloke who is hell bent on making a sucess of our club. Also later got us the shirt signed by most of the squad to give to the fella that won it in the auction.
Top man!

Just wanted to make everyone aware of what MCFC did for a friend of mine this recently

A friend of mine is in the Army and has been based in Afganistan all year.

He wrote Gary Cook a letter from Afgan asking if they could send him a couple of programs/City Magazine so he could keep up to date with the goings on at City.

Anyway, expecting not much in return, he got a package containing....

The Black away shirt signed by Adebayor.
Programs.
City Magazines.
Signed picture of Robinho.
Signed picture of Mark Hughes.
And
A personel letter from Gary Cook wishing him all the best and to send a picture of himself so they could put it in the match day program.

I personally think thats amazing. Really made his day and boosted his confidence as its tough times out there as im sure your all aware.

Great work Gary.

Stuff like this doesnt always get mentioned and i just thought everyone of you blues should know about this kind gesture

Brilliant effort from the club, well done City.

Just a quick question.....what did Adebayor sign it with? Chalk???!!!
