Maurizio Gaudino. How about that German dude from the 90s who had an Italian sounding name, looked like a guitarist in a Heavy Rock band and had a little 'sideline' in stolen cars?
Apologies for not looking up how to spell his name and indeed if he's already been mentioned.
+ 1Mario
If I’m not mistaken, he scored once - against Everton in the first home game - in the 90/91 season, and that was it.I knew Heath’s record was poor....didn’t realise it was that bloody poor.
Never a cult hero.Sergio.
Our greatest ever.
I agree a cult hero is never the best player in the side. A cult hero is the man on the pitch the fans adore for his passion and pride in wearing the shirt.Cult hero implies someone who is not universally regarded as a fantastic player. But is loved by his chosen people.
So I'd say Sergio, Vinny, Bell, etc are all out of the running.
Uwe for me.
got the winner at Norwich the season before which guaranteed us safety, sure he scored v Luton in a 4-0 win maybe season after and scored a couple in a cup game at QPRIf I’m not mistaken, he scored once - against Everton in the first home game - in the 90/91 season, and that was it.
