Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't realise footballers injured themselves on purpose? What was he supposed to do, tell Hughes not to sign him because he'd probably be on the treatment table soon?

I know, like many City fans, you've probably still got a grudge against CB because of his nasty past but that doesn't give you an excuse to talk shite.

Of course he doesn't do it on purpose, and if I was in his place I would have signed up and taken the money. I have no issue with his actions, but there is no getting around the history he has of a degenerative knee issue and giving someone that's almost 30 an over 4 year deal is lunacy.

The bottom line here is none of the players in this thread want to be here on purpose, the moves didn't work out as the player, club, manager or supporters had hoped. Those that are still here like Jo and Bellamy still have a chance to yet, make it a success though.
